CARAS of the Americas coordinates Project Information (ProInfo). Project
is an initiative that provides a platform to share information seeking to
link community needs with resources. Projects have been identified by the
communities themselves as priorities and by linking them with domestic and
international organizations that have the physical, technical and financial means
meaningful projects can be carried out successfully.

Information of community needs and desired projects is compiled through
community visits, interviews will members of all segments of the community, field
research, and collaboration with local organizations and government.

The information is posted on the
CARAS website as a type of database available to
the public. Only information that has been authorized by the community is included
on the website. Through this platform,
ProInfo provides a space for communities to
express and share their reality with other communities and societies.

CARAS operates ProInfo in Guatemala and Puerto Rico.
